Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): pressure washer trigger, model company, water spray

Question
I took apart my trigger gun , I couldnt find where the spring came from (I needed to use i for a job) so
I  put it back together and now I CANNOT control the water spray I still have the spring  But where the heck does it go

without ripping  mine or knowing what you are working on???  hard to exsplain.   but i,m guessing  over the valve in the handle  behind the handle (trigger) to  push it back open, as well as return  handle to off.

if you search the web. maybe you can get drawings on it   by entering into your model company  and model numbers.
