Hiya i was wondering if you could tell me how to rewind starter spring on my chainsaw it is model p3314wsa my pull cord was stuck and i made the mistake of taking it apart i would like to fix this my self thank you

first of all is spring broken?  if not. you need to put it into the recoilhousing, and attack it to recoil rope pulley, put any hardware it had back into place.   now make note> your rope is to be hanging out. you will see a notch in the plastic pulley.that is where your rope will stick out.  you wind the pulley up with rope out.  when it is fully wound up . line the notch up with hole where rope goes out in housing. slip rope out, holding onto it very carefully put handle on,  and tie strong knot in rope.   release it slowly into rope pully  and you should be back in order.
