Question
when your starter is going bad does it use more power from the batt. the only way i can start it is to jump it.
it takes a long time to get it to start.

 Hello Ken:

 Yes it Does Draw More Current from the Battery. However, has the Battery been Load Tested? A Dead/Weak Cell in the Battery will Cause the Starter to Drag like it is Bad and teh Battery will Show a Good Charge even with a Dead/Weak Cell. Hope this Helps.
