-----Question-----
I filled up my mower - a Victa Commando V40 - and tried to start it, but when it started thick white smoke came out from underneath it.
-----Answer-----
 Hello Sam:

Check the Crankcase Oil for a Gas Smell. Usually the White Smoke is a Sign that Oil and Gas has Mixed in the Crankcase and has Overfilled the Crankcase. Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With These Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Better Assist you. Thanks.

Answer
 Hello Sam:

I have Spoken with the Victa Distributor and the Model Numbers you have Given me are for the Mower. Look on the Blower Housing of the Engine or the Valve Covers (if OHV) and the Engine Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers should be Located at 1 of these 2 Places. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Thanks.

 Good Luck
