Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): toro recycler electric start lawnmower, carburator, gas tank

I start my mower (not with the electric start) and after 3 or so seconds the engine dies.  What needs to be fixed?  thank you,  Lisa

 Hello Lisa:

 Make sure the Gas is Free Flowing to the Carburator and the Gas Tank Cap is Venting the Tank Properly. If the Cap is Venting and the Gas is Free Flowing, then the Carburator needs to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. Send me the Make and All the Model Numbers and Letters Off of the Engine and I May be Able to Locate a Breakdown of the Engine and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps.
