Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): poulan 2150Hell, cylinder compression, exhaust port

Hello                                             The chainsaw kept getting harder and harder to   start.Has spark,seems to be getting fuel,
spark plug wet.will not even start with starting fluid.Would like to know compresion,and any other suggestions you my have.

 Hello Joe:

 Remove the Muffler and Check the Exhaust Port for Blockage. Check the Muffler and Spark Arrestor Screen for Blockage. Try to Run the Saw with the Muffler Off. From your Description it sounds like the Exhaust has Blockage. The Saw has Fuel to the Cylinder, Compression, and Spark at the Plug. The Only Reason the Saw wont run is the Exhaust is Blocked.
