Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere 111 Throtle Spring, throttle linkage, sectional index

Question
Do you know where the throtle spring connects on the 111? My spring has broken so there is no tension on the throtle. Where can I find a spring?

Answer
 Hello Glenn:

Go to this Addy http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Number 111. Then Select the File, Folder #1699-108, 111, 111H, ect. Click Sectional Index. Then 111 Lawn Tractor Engine. Then Click the Governor and Throttle Linkage File. The Spring is Attached From the Governor Control Arm to the Piviot on the Throttle Control Bracket. When you Move the Throttle Canle the Piviot Turns and Pulls on the Spring the Spring Pulls the Governor Arm and the Solid Rod Link Pulls the Throttle Plate Lever. You can Purchase a Spring(Part Number M81281) from your Local Small Engine Shop or from http://www.outdoordistributors.com/ @ 205-669-2500. Ask for Michelle. She can Answer All your Questions as to the Price and Shipping. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
