Answer
 Hello Jason:

Go to this Addy http://shop.briggsandstratton.com/BShopProductListingPage.asp?rsvp=0&PARENTID=0&... and Enter the Model Number 10A902 and the Type Number 2286. Then on the next Page, Scroll Down to the Second Item and Click on View PDF. This will Start a Download for the Breakdown for your Engine. If the Breakdown is Correct, then you need a Piece of Plastic Pipe That is the Size of the Spring Recess Inside the Housing and About 4 Inches Long. Coil the Spring into the Pipe and then Insert the Pipe into the Housing. Make Sure the Spring Catch Lines Up with the Catch Stud inside the Housing. Using a Wrench that will fit Snug Inside the Pipe, Push the Spring and Pull the Pipe Out of the Housing. The Spring should be in the Seat and Ready to Receive the Rope Pulley. Install the Pulley and Bend the Puller Retainers into Place. Now Turn the Pulley by Hand and Tighten the Spring. Once the Spring is Completely Tight Reverse 1 or 2 Full Turns and Line Up the Rope Hole in the Pulley with the Rope Hole in the Housing. Thread the Rope through the Pulley and Out the Hole in the Housing. Tie a Slip Knot in the Rope to Secure the Pulley and Rope while you Attach the Rope Handle. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
