Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawnboy Lawn mower, carburator, pro model

Question
Hey John,

I have a Lawnboy Silver Pro, model 10323,
S/N 210001584 year 2000 from what I have found.  This is the second Lawnboy I have had.  This one like the last one has been surging in throttle while it runs. (same as the last one in later its years)  Now though it seems that I prime the system 3 or 4 times and I start it 2 or two pulls.  No problems it begins the surging and I began to mow, but here just recently it has started dying like it is running out of gas.  There is not alot you can do to stop it once it has began I have noticed that sometimes priming it will sustain it for a brief second.  I have not noticied any power issues, it seems to run fine when it is running, pulling and what not.
I kinda of think it is something to do with the heat of the engine and a fuel problem.

Thank you in advance for any support you can give
James

Answer
 Hello James:

The Surging you Described is Usually Caused by Trash/Water getting into the Carburator or the Primer Bulb Leaking Air into the Carburator. Go to this Addy https://lookup2.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=lawnboy and Enter the Model Number. This will Allow you to View Parts Breakdowns of the Mower. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
