Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Gasoline Lawnmower-No Spark, spark plug wires, bare wire

Question
Weedeater Model #HD3Q4E6B, or 130-504, 42",just stopped operating while cutting grass.  Strong battery, carburator gets gasoline, clean air filter, cleaned and gapped plugs, but no spark at the plugs (twin cylinder). Traced the spark plug wires to ?ignition unit on upper right hand side of engine and they appear to be intact.
How can I diagnose and solve the problem?  I have a circuit tester.
Much obliged for any assistance.  Thank you.

Answer
 Hello Nathaniel:

Check for a Fuse. Normally Located Near the Ignition Switch. If No Fuse or the Fuse is Good, then Follow the Coil Cutoff Wire from the Coil to the 1st Connection Point. Disconnect the Coil Shutoff Wire. Check for Fire at the Plugs. If No Fire at the Plugs, then the Coil is Bad. If this Model has a Ignition Module, it May be Bad. If there is Fire at the Plugs, then Check the Seat Safety Switch. If that is Good then Test the Ignition Switch. Then Check the Blade Safety Switch. If All of these are Good, then Check the Harness for a Burnt or Bare Wire. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
