Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): leaking gas, gas leaks, carburator

Question
hi well i have a problem with my lawn mower (kinda obvious) well i have a yard works lawn mower 6hp 3 in 1 and i have noticed that the gas leaks from somewhere around the carburator. i tried tightening the bolts made sure the gaskets were ok everything seems fine but it still leaks. I brought it to a lawn mower repair shop to get a tune up and the guy suposedly cleaned everything and changed all the gaskets... it still leaks!!! so i was wondering if you could let me know of anything i could do to prevent or hopefully fix this problem. i appreciate it thanks!

Answer
 Hello Tom:

It Sounds like the Carburator Float Needle isnt Seating Properly and is Flooding the Carburator. Does this Gas Leak Affect the Running of the Mower? Does the Oil have a Gas Smell to it? Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Mower Frame and the Engine so I May Better Assist you. Thanks.

 Respectfully

 John
