Question -
My new Honda lawnmower stopped today because I failed to empty the bag in time before the mower clogged with grass clippings.  After I cleared it out, the pull cord seemed stuck and would not pull out.  The cord pulls out a couple of inches but will not engage to enable me to start the lawmower.  Can you help?

 Hello Elizabeth:

 Remove the Spark Plug.  Remove the Starter assembly. Can you Pull the Starter Rope out? If yes, then Put on a Pair of Work Gloves and Turn the Blade if you can. Does it turn? Dont Forget; You need someone to Hold the Engine Brake/Shut Down Lever for you or Tie it In Position. Hope this Helps. Let me know what happens, Please.
