Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): MTD riding mower Briggs 12.5, soleniod, key switch

No response on starting from ignition key, new ignition switch..didn't help, new solenoid...didn't help.  Battery Okay.  Can jump posts of solenoid with screwdriver and it starts fine. Want it to start with key.  All wiring looks okay, no exposed or worn areas. What is my next step?

 Hello Martha:

 Check the Safety Switches. The Seat and Clutch and Blade Engagment Safetys will Prevent the Key Switch from Working the Soleniod. Also Check for a Fuse near the Ignition Switch. Hope this Helps.
