Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): briggs 14.5 ic quiet, wire terminals, crimpers

hi before u told me that if i got some crimpers and some wire terminals i could fix the fuel solenoid myself how can that be done the solenoid wire has boken off and if ur flywheel key is broken in half the motor will just spin am i right?Tom

OK- lets establish what is wrong with the motor.
1- Pull the spark plug, reconnect it to its wire.
2- Observe that the plugs firing terminals are clean.
3- Hold the threaded part of the plug against the engine block, but turned so that you can see the firing terminals.
4- Crank the engine, and tell me if you see a spark.
