Answer
Hiya Robert
OK - first thing you want to make sure your battery connections are good.  If their not, not only will it not crank, but the battery probably hasn't been charging either.  Clean both battery terminals and the grounding point for the negative lead.  Try jumping it.
If it still won't crank, you either have a bad starter solenoid or a bad key switch.  If you have a 12v test light, you can diagnose this by identifying this terminal on the start switch and looking for the 12v (turn the key to crank over and over while looking, one termnial, ignition, will remain hot while the keys in the on position, the crank terminal will only be hot when the key hits the crank position).
If this is ok- you have a bad solenoid.  Hopefully, its seperate from your starter, as it is relatively inexpensive that way.  Not to hard to replace, just make notes about what wires are where.
Lemme know how it goes OK?
