Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): how do i wire my onan two cylinder-four cycle onan enging /horizontal shaft, horizontal shaft, charging system

ignition switch to coil to resistor to distributor(points), to coil to charging stuff, etc

 Hello Doc:

 The Wiring Goes as follows: 1- When Ignition Switch is turned on, Power from Switch to + side of Coil. 2- Negative Side of Coil to Distributor. The Power to the + side of the Coil has the Resistor between Coil and Switch. Without the Engine Size, I cant tell you how to wire the Charging System. Does this Engine have the Generator or Alternator. Also does this Engine use a Voltage Regulator. Hope this Helps.
