Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Tecumseh OVRM carburetor, gunk, air filter

Question
I have a Scott's walk behind w/ Tecumseh 6.5 OVH model OVRM 120 engine.  I recently had a problem with the mower starting then immediately stalling.  I removed the bowl and cleaned the interior of the carb with Gunk Carb Cleaner.  I then replaced the bowl and the engine started poerfectly and ran like new.  I used it three times and then it started very poorly, running sluggishly for about 1 minute and died.  I left it overnight and came back to discover that the gas had leaked out thru the air filter.  I am assuming it's a float problem - specifically is there a certain way to install the bowl so as to free the float?  I noticed that the bowl is specifically molded on the bottom.  Is it possible that I have misaligned it and am jamming the float?
Do I need to replace the float and/or rebuild or replace the carb?

Answer
 Hello Jerry:

Purchase a Rebuild Kit. The Float Needle is Bad. Your this far into the Carb, so Rebuild it.  Nothing that I can Think of could be Misaligned. The Step up side of the Bowl goes to the same Side as the Float Pin. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
