I haven't worked on one of these for many, many years but what o-ring?

Is the 83 model still air cooled?

Unfortunately I'm not the best expert for this question since I mainly repair air cooled engines.

Have you tried bikebandit.com or Ron Ayers cycle?  These web sites provide many illustrated part lists pictures that may help you.  I usually purchase the repair manual for my bikes if I can't find the info on the net.
Have you tried some of the motorcycle repair experts?
