Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Kill switch, hp engine, kill switch

Question
Can you tell me where I can connect a kill switch in my Tecumseh 25-hp engine.

Unlike the B&S engine, there is no tag to which the wire could be connected.

There are however several unconnected wires which are located on the side of the engine.

Please assist.

How old of an engine?  If you remove the fan shround, the top engine housing cover, you will gain access to the coil.

If you look at the coil module you should see a small wire on the side or bottom of the module.  Follow this wire to the engine terminal block.  This is where you can connect a shut-off switch to.
