Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn Chief Manual, true value hardware, hardware dealer

I cannot find a manual for my Lawn Chief.  Model # 545-M, Service number is 237131.  Manual part number is mtd-82547.  All I really need is deck belt routing and deck assembly.  I think I am missing a piece to get my deck to engage.  Where can I download this info?

I believe you have an older mower that was actually made by General Power when they were making mowers in the early to mid 90s because I recognize the model number.

Have you tried you local True Value hardware dealer?  They sell the Lawn Chief model line and we used to order all the parts for Lawn Chief when I worked for a True Value dealer.

What part do you think you are missing?
