I have a 5HP 21" Craftsmans Snowblower, about 5 years old.  I tried starting it but it runs until gas/oil from primer button is spent, then it stops.  Replaced, spark plug, check fuel line and filter for clogs, but still won't stay running, after the initial start and rev up from primer pump.  If I continue to prime it stays running until I stop and gas is spent.  What should I check next.

You will need to remove, dis-assemble and clean the carburetor.  We see this problem very often and cleaning the carb with carb cleaner and compressed air from an air compressor fixes the problem.

Just pay close attention to how you remove the carb, particularly the connecting linkages, and you shouldn't have any problems.  You may even want to take some digital pictures of the carb before/as you remove and dis-asssemble it.
