Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Boosting the electrical out put on my mower, thanks art, electrical output

Hi, I have a craftsman lt2ooo riding mower.  I want to put a 12v stereo with speakers on it to make my mowing more enjoyable.  I dont think my mower will create or maintain enough electrical output to let me do this ,  How can i beef up my electrical so it doesnt draw too much off my battery?  By the way my wife thinks I am crazy but I told her I would find a way.  Thanks Art from Michigan

Your wife is, at least, partially correct!  The charging coils under the flywheel are incapable of producing enough amperage to both charge the battery and run a stereo.  So, the battery will end up discharged.  I recommend a walkman.  Hope this helps.
