Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Echo chain saw model 290EVL, quick responce, rubber valves

Question
Lee:  Thanks for the quick responce yesterday but I may not have given you enough information.  The chain lube orifice is stopped up and the chain is not getting any lubrication.  The stopage is caused, I would guess from the old engine oil I used. How can I clean out the chain lube orifice?  Thanks again, Chuck

Answer
if its plugged in the bar itself you can use air to blow it out, if its plugged at the unit it can be more than what you think you have the filter in the tank and then the pump and finally the outlet that feeds the bar. the problem with used oil is the acid that develops in the oil from combustion residues, and most of those pumps are just diaphrams with small rubber valves. so without tearing it down it is a very difficult problem to diagnose.
