Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): My Buddys Mo Ped, dirt bike, clutch

Question
Hello I may be in the wrong section but we were ramping my friends Mo Ped when I held 100% gas and launched farther than I expected breaking a little of the plastic. When we kick started it the engine started up pretty well (as it mostly does) but when the throttle was applied it didn't move. We put it up on its kick stand and the wheel turned (not very fast but it turned) but when you applied the brakes or put it down it back on the wheel stopped and gave no push at all. Do you have any ideas of what could be wrong with it(clutch, axle, brakes, ect)? Thank you very much for your time. (PS it is probally a '97)

Answer
You should, first, try using something other than a Moped for a dirt bike!  Otherwise, the problem is likely related to something broken in the clutch.  This was likely caused by the drive spinning fast while you were airborne and being jolted to a lower RPM when you landed.  Hope this helps.
