Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Weed Trimmer - Cannot Pull Cord, ryobi, trimmers

Hello,

My Ryobi 825 weed trimmer has a problem. The pull rope is jammed. I tried to disasemble the unit to see why it is jammed but the clutch drum assembly doesn't want to come off. Is there an easier way to repair this problem.  Also is it financially worthwile to fix this type of problem or should I just look into buying another one.

Depending on the severity of the problem, it may be worthwhile putting that one at the curb and purchasing a new one.  With trimmers being so cheap, anything more than a simple repair isn't worthwhile (unless it's an expensive trimmer).  Hope this helps.
