Hello Michael,
I have a Lawn Chief Model 400G riding mower.

I need to find/buy the deck lift cable.  I can't seem to find a place to buy the part?

This cable is about 16 inches long and goes from the front to the rear of the deck and controls the hight of the deck.

Hi Mike,

Sorry, I don't know of a place offhand. I did a search and found some info.  I looked into a few of the sites at the beginning and didn't see deck cables.  Maybe you could contact the places that seem to have the most Lawn Chief parts.
