Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Mandrel for 30 in. cut lawn chief rider, bearing suppliers, mandrel

I have an old Lwan Chief rear rider 30 in cut model # 7-8308-0502X576 while taking the blade off the nut snapped so I removed mandrel and finally got it apart was all rusted only thing I saved was the mandrel housing, top bearing and long spacer,Need a lower bearing, short spacer,Shaft, pulley and the 2 keys. Called the local True Value store and they could not help me with parts, just wondered if you know where or even if  I could get any part numbers or even if I could replace the entire mandrel, Other then that its a runs and cuts great, Thanks Tom

That model was acutally made my Murray.  Any Murray dealer should be able to help you, just don't let them know it's a Lawn Chief unless they ask.

You can find the bearings at many places, hardware stores, autoparts stores and of course bearing suppliers.

We used to stock all those parts, but I haven't seen one of those old quills in years.
