Snowmobile Repair: 1995 polaris XLT, polaris xlt, antifreeze

Question
My 95 Polaris seems to blow antifreeze out of the cap.It happened last year once and I put a new cap on and it stopped, but now it happened again. What do you suggest?

Answer
Hello Tim,

Could be a few things causing this. One would be that the mount ( would probably be threaded on an older Polaris)that the cap goes on, is worn. I would recomend taking a look at it. Also, it the sled maybe over heating due to a clog, or old anti-freeze. If you think this is the problem, try flushing the anti freeze, and adding fresh mix. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any help. Good luck with the sled! --Arcticatman
