Snowmobile Repair: sled specs, yamaha srv, oil injection

i have a 1990 yamaha srv and i was woundering if there is a oil injecter on it ...and if not what should the mix ratio be for the gas. thanks

  Yes, from the factory, that sled is oil injected. Here is a file to help you identify the parts. If you don't find the system on the sled, there is a good possibility that the previous owner removed it. In that case, be sure the oil injection pump is plugged up good with vacuum plugs. Then, use a fuel oil ratio of a max 20:1 and a min 40:1. 32:1 might work best with a Yamaha of that year, but just play with different ratios, and see where it works best.
