Steering Column Repair: Shifting lever, steering column repair, chevrolet oldsmobile


Question
I have a 98' suburban. i turn on my car one cold morning, Waited as it warms up a bit. I tried to shift it to reverse it was stuck, i pulled it hard n heard a snap inside the calumn, the shifting lever could move up n down real easily. As i opened the steering column cover, i found that the metals mounted n the roller mechanism part was broken. I found parts but i have no clue of how to replace it. Would someone help me....
