2000 CADILLAC ESCALADE I REPLACED MY STEERING COLUMN WITH NEW IGNITION AND NEW REMOTE CONTROL AND KEY TO START VEHICLE.NOW WHEN I TRY TO START THE TRUCK IT TURNS OVER LIKE ITS GOING TO START BUT WILL NOT START.CAN YOU HELP ME OUT WITH THIS PROBLEM.

I'm sorry for the delayed answer.  It seems the original question was deleted from my inbox.
Your dilemma is such... Your vehicle has a PassKey system.  On the original key are the engravings PK2 or PK3.  The steering column has a sensor that reads the key rotating in the lock and then sends a signal to the fuel system to engage.

Since you replaced the column, you now need to reprogram the replaced Passkey system.  
We have recently uploaded pages and a description of how to reprogram the ignition switch on GM vehicles (for a small fee).  They are broken down into step by step detailed instructions. Here is a link to that page.  This covers many of the switches from 1997-2006 to present.
