Steering Column Repair: windshield wiper switch, chevrolet truck, tilt column

1991 chevy s10 tilt wheel intermittent wiper.How do you release the pin holding the wiper switch in the column housing?Problem is I don't have enough clearance to drive the pin out towards the dash.I put the tilt in low and I cannot gain enough clearance.Thanks

The pin and switch come out AFTER you remove the upper lock cover completely.

They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos with instructions. Although the videos are for a Chevrolet truck, the column is very similar to yours.
