Land Rover Repair: 03 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY AIR STRUT, land rover discovery, warm soapy water

MY LEFT REAR STRUT LOOSES AIR INTERMITENTLY. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND A LEAK. THE OFF ROAD SUSPENSION LIGHT IS ON. CAN YOU HELP ME OUT?

Hi Sean,

leaks can form almost anywhere, faulty seal, along the top were the lines go in and sometimes the leak is from the band that secures the bag to the holder.  The usual leak is from the bag it self.  The reason it only leaks intermittently is due to how the truck was parked.  The leak may be covered or not.

So, did you use warm, soapy water to check for the leak?  You could try jumping up and down on the bumper THEN checking for the leak.
