Steering Column Repair: 1990 Corvette Replacement steering column not fitting, corvette replacement, salvage yards

We installed this replacement steering column only to find it does not reach the linkage. It is about 3/4" short! Does this mean it is collapsed? Any solution to this? PLEASE HELP

It sounds like the column you are installing has a collapsed shaft.  You can however stretch it back, if the outer tube is not collapsed.  doe it mount to the car ok or are the silver wedges out of place also?  If those have been knocked out, I would look for another column.
For used parts...Try this site.  You may be able to find what you need.
