Steering Column Repair: signal lever 93 GMC Safari van, turn signal switch, gmc safari

Question
Dear Sir,
MY TURN SIGNAL LEVER HANGS LIMP. ALL ELSE, AT THE LEVER, WORKS FINE. WHAT FAILED, AND WHERE IS IT LOCATED SO THAT i CAN REPAIR IT?

Answer
Hi Donna:
It sounds like the turn signal actuator has broken or come off.  This happens once in a while.  The part is inexpensive and my company sells it for $12.25.  It is a small metal bracket that connects the turn signal switch to the lever.  (I also need to know if it is a tilt or non-tilt column---they are different)
We have recently uploaded some videos on our website to give you first hand viewing of how to remove, disassemble, and reassemble the parts you are talking about. They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos with instructions.

I hope these videos help you.  If not, please contact me again for more information.
Lastly, if you want to order the part to repair this column simply fill out an order form on our "Contact Us / Order Parts" page and we will get back in touch with you personally

Good luck
