Answer
Unfortunately, in a 97 ford column, there are no bolts that need to be tightened up, what is very common with these trucks is that the bearings get really dried out, and they make the wheel wobble around, now I know that these steering columns are very hard to find in the salvage yard, I sell them online, or you might be able to find one locally, also try car-part.com that is a great place to find parts, also craigslist.com sorry I'm not trying the sales pitch here, I'm just trying to find you some answers, but the losseness you are getting is not fixable without some parts (not just the bearings( and an expert, because those columns are very tricky, especially when it comes time to set the spring back down that locks the steering shaft in the bearings, if you did it wrong, it could come apart while you're driving, lock the wheel up and cause an accident, i don't mean to scare you but it needs to left up to an experienced person to repair the column. The interchange for your truck is gonna be 92-97 F150, F250, F350, F450 without airbag if its out of a 92-93 you need to cut and splice the wires from your black rectangle shaped connector, 92-93 have a gray square shaped connector, but they have the same color wires in them, make sure you don't mix up the big black wire with the small black wire on is for the key buzzer and on is the ground for the horn. Please let me know if I can help you further
