Steering Column Repair: steering, power steering fluid, steering rack


Question
this morning i got in the car and noticed when i turned right i had a very hard time turning the steering wheel.  it kind of shook like a start stop type thing.  once i got straight it felt fine i turned left and had no problems but when i turned right again it did the same thing!  i have not had any problems with this, i bought the car from a friend it is a 93 toyota camery

Hello Sasha,
You may want to check the power steering fluid level to be sure it is full. I suspect the steering rack needs replaced, but usually they start to leak first. I definitely recommend you have the front end inspected by a competent shop. You may can have it done while you have your oil changed.
