Nissan Repair: 95 maximia, throttle position sensor, air control valve

Question
My car cuts off at intersections? Or when ever I make a turn. Howerver while driving on the highway it will run perfectly fine! I put it in the shop, I had the fuel pump, fuel injectors and almost everything fixed on this car. the guy I normal go to, says its nothing he can do anymore...the car isn't shuting off at the shop! When my car do shuts off the radio will still play!

Answer
Tracie,

I would have the following checked out.

First the idle air control valve.  This controls the idle when you are stopped.

The MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure sensor).  This tells the idle air control valve what to do to make the car idle.

Third, the throttle position sensor.  This has a setting that tells the computer the car is at idle and for the idle air control valve to start adjusting to the commands of the computer, given information from the MAP sensor.
