Steering Column Repair: GM Steering Column Wiring, gm steering column, 34 ford

Question

I am installing a Tilt Steering Column from a 85 Camaro in my 34 Ford. I need to know where all of the Column wires go. Do you have a wiring diagram that would help me? There are wires for the wipers, headlights, turn signals, ignition, etc. Need help. Thanks.

I'm afraid I am limited by sponsors and cannot provide electrical schematics online any more. Try your local library for their Chiltons books. Many libraries are going online with their Chiltons, and it usually doesn't cost anything as long as you have a library card. If that doesn't work, you could purchase the generic repair manual for the 85 Camaro at your local parts store. They usually have wiring diagrams toward the back of the book. I've found that they are generic in that the color codes aren't always accurate. But that shouldn't hinder you tracing wiring on the column alone. These books run less than $15 so you can't really go wrong.
