Steering Column Repair: 97 S10 Steering Column Wiring, s10 blazer, key cylinder

My 97 s10 blazer 4wd has lost the brake lights and Hazard lights.The brake light on the roof still works ,but the ones in the tailights do not.In the steering column is a plug laying with three wires that are orange,light green and light blue.I can not see where this plugs in and is it possible that this is the problem?Also about 2 months ago I had the ignition key cylinder replaced and sometimes it still will not turn all the way back to release the key.

Hello Martin,
The best advice I can give to you is to return to the shop who did the repairs with receipt in hand. It will need to be disassembled again. Obviously there is still a problem with the ignition.
