Steering Column Repair: Ignition cylinder replacement, latch pin, toyota camry

Question
I am replacing the ignition cylinder on a 92 Toyota Camry.  I have removed all shrouds that I can, but I am having trouble locating the rlease pin to pull the cylinder.  I have the key in the ACC position, and need help getting the old cylinder removed.

Thanks.

Answer
Hello Mike,
I'm not absolutely certain, but I believe there is a spring loaded catch (either pin or clip) that needs to be depressed to remove the lock cylinder. Unlike GM it is located on the top side of the lock (where GM has them at the side or very bottom of the hole where the lock fits. Look for a small hole or opening and depress the latch pin or clip.

Sorry I am not of much help.
Have a great day!
