Steering Column Repair: 95 Corvette Steering column, corvette steering column, tilt column

Question
Hi: I recently imported a 95 Corvette into Canada. I paid more for what I thought was a low mileage creampuff. 60,000 miles.  The garage I took the car to for it's Saskatchewan Safety inspection failed the car for it's play in the tilt column.  I truly think it is just a money grab in that they want to do the repairs, but they hold all the cards. I plan to do the work myself. I have the column loose and almost ready to remove but I cannot get the gas pedal out and it seems that this is necessary to remove column. An option may be to fix the column in the car but I am not sure what parts may be wore. I can see a top bearing and I,m wondering if there is a bottom bearing and if there are pins that could be wore. I cannot get column apart far enough to get to bottom bearing or swivel? or whatever is down below.  Do you have a diagram of this column. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Answer
Hello Rick,
I'll give you links to a diagram and part numbers for your column parts. This may help you in identifying which parts go where and what parts you may need.
