Steering Column Repair: Steering column, buick electra 225, buick electra

Question
Hello, my name is Henrik and i drive a 76 Buick Electra 225.
A few days ago i was replacing the ignitionlock and
somehow the upper bearing fall apart?
Dont know why but i wonder if it is in two parts or if it is broken.
If it is broken how to replace it.
If you wonder about my spelling i live in Sweden and it was some years since school.
And if you could tell me for shore how to mount the parts over the turn-signal plate which is NOT removed because off the cables.
Thanks Henrik.

Answer
I am not real sure of what you are speaking of. If the ball bearings fell out of the cage, I can address that. If you are looking for answers on how to put the column back together, they are in the answers on this site that I have addressed. The answers for Chev trucks and others with the GM Sag column are all the same basic tilt column.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
