Will a steering column out of a S15 1990 fit in a 1991 full size 2500 light 3/4

Hi,

No, internally they are the same, but they cannot be interchanged.
The S-10 is shorter and will not bolt to the firewall. The S-10 probably would not even bolt to the dash.
The good news is that from 82-94 the full size truck column is the same except for maybe the wiper switch which may have to be replaced.

Many of the junkyard columns are loose as well. Its from grabbing the steering wheel to get in.
I do rebuild these columns for $150.00 plus shipping with normally a two day turn around and I guaranty that you will never have the problem again.
