Subaru Repair: 2002 Outback Problems, Subaru check engine light

Question
I need help desperately!!.  Basically, the car jerks and looses power when less than 1/4 tank in car.  Check engine light - Replaced, crankshaft sensor.  Went to pick up car (less than 14 tank incar) - did it again (no check engine light) - Replacing map sensor did not fix it neither did fuel pump,  Dealer can't figure out what the problem is either.  Can anyone out there help? There is really more to this problem, but I don't think there is enough room.  Thanks in advance.

Answer
Barbara,

Maybe start with giving me the code pertaining to the check engine light.  When you say the Dealer cant figure it out can you elaborate in a bit more detail?

Has the car ever acted up with more than a 1/4 tank of fuel in it?  Make sure in your response that you are as accurate and detailed as possible or I cant be of any help.

Did the Dealer replace the map sensor, fuel pump and crank sensor & if so why?
