Subaru Repair: cranskshaft pulley 92 subaru, crankshaft pulley, subaru legacy

Question
Having problem removing the crankshaft pulley nut on 92 subaru legacy 4 x 4.  any suggestions?  is it possible that the nut is loosened by turning it right?? instead of left?

thanks

Answer
There is a tool that you may be able to get from Kragen's of the like. It is a flywheel stopper or holder. The one from Subaru goes in the back of the motor  and locks the engine from turning. You can do it that way or if you know someone with air tools, have them remove it with an impact wrench.
