Subaru Repair: 1999 legacy wagon hesitation, mass air flow sensor, throttle position sensor

Question
My wagon has a hesitation problem.  The hesitation was intermittent last summer and to my surprise, went away during the winter (upstate NY).  My local mechanic has changed the throttle position sensor, idle control valve, and front oxygen sensor.  The codes that have been detected are P1130, P0122, and possibility more. Now that the weather has warmed again the hesitation is back, more intense than ever. Any suggestions on our next course of action would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
A typical issue for that year is a failing mass air flow sensor. Subaru even had a campaign to replace them. But that doesn't mean yours is bad.Another thing to look at are the plugs, wires and coil pack.Expecially look for signs of oil on the plug wires. The best advice i can give you is to find someone in your area who specializes in Subaru.Rather than just continue to throw parts at it.I hope that helps

I'm truly sorry if you didn't like my advise. But there is no reason to give someone who is trying to help you bad press.
I do this for free to try and help YOU.Its not always possible to diagnose a problem over the Internet or over the phone. and people like YOU. give us trying to help others for free a very bad taste in our mouth so thank you for your negative comments to someone trying to help you .I really appreciate taking the time to help others for FREE so they can say negative things about me.Also that was the straw that broke the camels back as because of your lovely comment i will no longer offer any more advice.
