Subaru Repair: hesitation subaru legacy, heat vent, subaru legacy

THE CAR IS 05 SUBARU LEGACY LIMITED 2.5L IT HAS 23300 MILES. THE PROBLEM STARTED ABOUT JUNE OF LAST YEAR BUT GOT WORST WHEN IT GOT COLDER THE HESITATION GOES AWAY AFTER THE CAR BEEN DRIVING FOR ABOUT 30 MIN.  THE BURNING SMELL STARTED IN DECEMBER. THE BURNING SMELL AFTER THE HEAT  BEEN RUNNING FOR 20 MIN.

my car hesitates when first start driving it. took it to the dealer they replaced the throttle body. but the problem still there. they said they can't find a problem any suggestion?  also had burning smell from seat warmer then from the heat vent. the car has 23300 miles

I need a little more information if that is ok.If you can provide me with the year,as well as trim level such as ll bean etc .Also when did the problem start ,as much information as you can remember will help me try to answer this for you

Wow,I'm sorry your having that kind of performance issue with your Subaru.Im assuming the dealer has done all of the appropriate tests.But I would suspect that something basic is being overlooked. Looking at The front o2 sensor values and the fuel pressure readings is where I would start for the hesitation.The smell from the seat would prompt me to remove the heater element and inspect it for any foreign material that may have found its way to it.Burning smell from the vent I would suspect a sloppy oil change or something else that may have splashed on to the exhaust .There really isn't any thing in the heater system that would give off a burning smell other than the blower motor and you would usually have a performance issue with the blower motor as well.Im sorry i Dont have any concrete awnswers on the hesitation but thats something that will require some testing.
