Towing Issues: unlawful posession/illegal tow

tenant agrees that if assigned parking is available on property that the vehicle must be registered. there wasn't any assigned parking on property that i am currently under lease and they towed my property anyway isn't that illegal?

Come on now, how can I answer questions like this with no information provided.

But if you do not register the vehicle and have the information on file, then how do they know it belongs there. If it is registered then the chances of towing are a lot less.
