Towing Issues: repo rates charges leagally, repo company, repo rates

I live in erie pa my car was repoed friday.  I worked out the issue with my finance company negotiating a modified contract they say that they will release my car monday or tuesday depending on when the manager signs the agreement.  what can i legally expect from the repo guy.   They were not very friendly or helpful i asked them if i could remove some personal stuff such as a work uniform and car seat they said no.  this is my first time and im really not sure what too expect.

Well as much as I hate to say it but I do not have any answers for you on this question.

Rates for the impound - repo are not uniform across the country, and each company had different policies and practices regarding releasing personal property.

Your finance company while they are your enemy for having the vehicle picked up, can be your friend when it comes to getting your personal property. And I know in most cases the personal property of repo'ed vehicles is removed and inventoried as it gets to the yard as a way of protecting it and also removing a lot of liability of the repo company.
